I Tried On What I’m Keeping from Tibi Fall Fundamentals

Fit notes, styling tips, and the pieces that actually made the cut (including one I yanked out of the return box mid-shipment).

The Tibi Fall Fundamentals launched, and while I’m usually more of a main collection girl, a few pieces from this drop had me in a chokehold ever since I saw samples at the LA Style House. In this live, I tried on only the pieces I’m actually keeping, so consider this your shortcut to what’s worth the hype (according to me!).

I didn’t try on everything. Just the ones that earned a spot (and a hanger) in my closet.

What made the cut:

  • Slip skirt + cami set in celery: A rare exception to my no-multiples rule. I already have the black, but this beautiful green shade? Had to.

  • Stella pant in the menswear check nylon: Wide-leg glory. I show them with flats, sneakers, and heels. Honestly a dream pant for travel or just pretending you're in an art gallery.

  • Black Gabe shirt: Surprise hit. I thought I was a Charlie-only girl until I tried this on. Worn backwards? Game over.

  • Pinstripe Winslow pant + track jacket: Casual in theory, commanding in practice. I break down how to style both pieces separately and together.

  • Wilt jogger in eggplant: I’ve gone through like four pairs of Wilts over the years, I explain why.

Not Fall but I tried on:

  • Asymmetrical balloon skirt: I already owned it in black and flirted with navy. Ended up sticking with the OG. Sculptural and endlessly wearable.

  • Bubble shorts in black nylon: I sized up, and it completely transformed how I felt in them. Styled them casual and dressy on the live.

What didn’t stay (but was still cute):

Bonus talk-throughs: Harry boot sizing, the current Tibi shoe sale, and which pants I size up or down in depending on how I want them to sit (a must if you’re dealing with bloating, or just waistband preferences).

Got sizing questions? Trying to figure out if the Winslows will work for work? Comment below and I’m happy to share how I style or size mine.
